I Mr.Chiranjeeb Chakraborty.I was Purcahse a Land phone From Tata Indicom-Bistupur-Jamshedpur-Main BranchOn date 27.07.2009.My land line connection no is-0657-6542757.I have so many problem from your side.When i was purchase your phone after one day i battery problem i have faced & then speker problem.After that i complain to your main brach office one fellow come & told me we can replace it pls take that phone to our office.When i visited your office at taht time your office incharge told me we can replace it we can service it our customer service center.Then when i visited your service center then they told me we can repair but our chage is 1.500RS when i was purchase your phone the cost is 1.100RS.They tell us this is replaceable phone so no warrenty on it.When i was purchse no body told me it is replaceable & no warrenty on it.My Post paid skim is 225Rs pr month.So Now what can ido can you suggest me or solve my problem.I am waiting your mail.

Hi Guys! I was in Muvattupuzha, Kerala, India, for 3 months recently. ‘Unfortunately’, I purchased a mobile phone and a USB internet modem (both with connections) from TATA INDICOM. The service, probably, is worse that any telecom company can ever give you. A bigger shock is when you get monthly bills much beyond your imagination. Over and above that, when you approach their customer ‘care’, the response is much worse than that would expect from typical sarkari baboos that we encounter in our government offices. Finally, I wanted to get out…but, they delayed the disconnection process to such an extent that I had to pay them the rent for many extra days that I did not even use the connection.

If you are not particular that you will learn only from your own personal mistake (I was particular!), be cautious of Tata Indicom folks. They can trap you, your friends, or relatives. Just pass on this message if you feel it worthy. Sorry if I am spamming you.

Every renter would also be a landlord. The wolrd is a circle. I am a recent landlord i.e few hours! I think no different from what you wrote in an almost instantaneous transformation- same Andheri locality – stupendous high EMI – I, and landlords and brokers are not into charity. But, if you work for Corporates, who are we fooling- The HRA are massive as well! So all net net matches up.

Oh by the way, do you know anyone who needs a 5 room unit in Andheri East?? This is euphemism for 3 BHK with a living room and a kitchen. The 2 bathrooms are not counted becuase most of us don’t live in them. The flat faces a massive raintree that makes up for the lost morals of the place i.e cement dump, proliferating trash and shops as well as shoppees (an interesting variation on the “shop” favoured by bored housewives). The balconies will house only plants but not you if you smoke (which I do). In most cases, you will always be surrounded by loving neighbours – take that literally – you will hear them making love. Any takers??

TATA Indicom broadband (VSNL) guys lost track of money they took from me.
Kept blaming about non-payment and started to de-activate my connection without prior notice.
Remember I am a customer who had been using TATA Indicom broadband for a year now.
Activated the connection Feb 15th 2007

If this is how they treat their customer who had been using it for a year, forget those new comers. Will be treated next to piece of SHIT.

They have damn good technology in place and BUNCH of IDIOTS to maintain their backoffice operations.

Another way they cheat customers is by not giving the downtime credit for usage.
Its like sarkari office… Working or not you still need to pay the full rent.

i contacted these guys on their customer care id customercare.delhi@tatatel.co.in

and marked a copy to their ceo also. Infact in the next hour i got a call asking me of the problems i was facing .

Reason quoted by them ” Sir , your credit limit was wrongly input as 750 it shouldve been 7500. It has been set right now” I still tried reasoning that this was also low considering that my limit was free 5GB usage which amounted to about 10240 bucks but he dint listen.

Credit limit problem seems to have been sorted as im not going to use 5 GB in a month i guess,,,,Rs 7500 is enough for me..

You can try sending a mail to the above id and reference can be given about my mail which i had marked to the customer care in delhi and prompt action was taken.

Im currently a tad tied up coz of office work to take this issue up with consumer court but i will surely do this once im free coz now even after getting the bill amount reversed these people have sent recovery agents to harass my folks back home. This is inspite me telling their stupid recovery call center (theyve called me about a dozen times now) that ive got the amount reversed and please stop calling me!! Check your system for info.

I will surely haul them up through the consumer courts for all the pain theyve given me. Ive preserved all complaint nos and bills theyve sent me so proofs are not an issue with me

Then i wrote a email to given email id on the bill. I didn’t get any answer but after some days got a bill with Rs 500 discount. I am not satisfied. I haven’t paid the bill then. Can we look for the consumer rights about what can be done in this case. This useless scheme means we are paying 1500 for just 1250 MB transfer
